Yoga of the Subtle Body - Tias Little
discusses chakras and similar ideas, "a necessary bridge between East and West, he digs deep into the mystery of being." this is a more difficult read with Sanskrit terms and abstract concepts

beautiful breakdown of anatomy and how your muscles move throughout the practice. tons of insightful tips!

Each of the body's systems are powered by energy/vibration; blood circulation, digestive processes, mind chatter, feelings of intuition, etc. Depending on each chakra and its placement in the body, we can observe if its energy is balanced, blocked, or overactive. This brings insight for gainful reflections regarding behaviors and lifestyle. It includes all spaces of being; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

Reiki has historically been a technique for increasing relaxation, reducing stress/anxiety, lessening pain & swelling, and encouraging the body into a balanced state. It can do no harm and each individual will have the experience they're meant to.
